The Dangers of Love Magick

The internet is filled with psychics telling you how to reunite with your Twin Flame or spell work to bring back your love. The dangerous & slippery slope of Love Spells goes against the grains of not only The Universe, but against someone’s Free Will.

When we love someone, and they don’t love us back, it hurts. We wonder “How can I make them see my love?” We are most vulnerable when we feel rejected from a breakup, divorce or unrequited love. 

The reality we don’t want to hear, is that if you were meant to be together right now- you would be. If you were Soul Mates, that person would love you back. You can’t genuinely produce chemistry, attraction, love or life time commitment. Sure, you can manipulate energy and Free Will to dominate and overpower someone. At that point, you need to ask yourself “Is this Love? Or is this me operating from my unhealed wound?” Love is organic. If you are resorting to manipulation, you are not loving. You are seeking power and control over another person.   

In my 28 years of practice and study, the process of doing love spells always goes down in this way….

It will start with being heart broken. There will be love that is not reciprocated, a lover will ghost their partner, there will be a terrible break up or divorce that turns their entire world upside down. In the midst of such pain, one isn’t able to come to terms with why such a thing could happen, they feel this was their “one and only”, this was their “Soul Mate. They’re unable to accept the relationship has ended, or that there never was a relationship to begin with. 

As time passes, and they are still not able to let go and accept the ending of the connection, some decide to have one last ditch effort to try a love magick to bring back their lost lover. They want to enchant them to love them once more. Some seek closure to understand what happened and why they left. Some want an apology.

Throughout the years, people will come to me with their experiences and seek guidance in love magick. I have warned that while Love Magick may appear to work, it never works how you really want and it never works long term. It ends ugly when Spirit shows you why that person was kept out of your life. 

Unfortunately, when being told these things, most people don’t care. Most are so blinded by the pain and in such despair, that they are willing to take the risk to have their love back again, even if for a short time. To get that “I’m sorry.” To get that understanding. To get that brief feeling of love they once shared. 

They will go ahead and do the love spells.

The lover will return.

There will be an overflow of apologies.

The two will merge back together.

It will be as if they started back where they left off before the breakup. Much fun will be had.

Many romantic times will be shared.

There will be electricity in the air & enchanted energy cast over all.

The once lost lover will shower the other with love and affection. 

Then, out of nowhere, the spell will break. There’s no telling when or how. 

The relationship will begin to sour, become putrid even. The energy will feel off, stagnant, negative, and over all, just very bad. Behaviors of the lost love will be strange, they will be flip-floppy & wishy-washy. There might be constant excuses about why they distance themselves. Nothing done or said by them will seem to add up. Once the negative energy and strange behaviors come to a peak, this is when the Tower moment of disaster, shock and final break up will unfold. 

When unfolding, a variety of bullshit flavored occurrences will bombard your life. There can be sickness, accidents, any lies, half truths, deceptions, bad feelings or thoughts from between the union or from with one another as individuals will emerge suddenly in their most dramatic and crass nature. The lost lover becomes possessed by a sense of having been controlled, they may begin to grow suspicious, their subconscious becomes aware of your love Magick even if they can’t intellectualize it or articulate it. A volcano blow up will be in the works. 

Another occurrence that happens is the terrible truth about your lost lover will be brought to light, and many times it’s something that will be distressing. I have seen it come out that they were cheaters, hiding drug abuse, they were hiding criminal activity, some were con-artists, womanizers, and had a physically violent past towards women. Some had hidden lives where they were actually married with children. Some lost lovers I have seen even ended up being sexual predators. 

When the spell caster discovers this, they usually spin back instantly back into a state of despair. How could this beautiful person that I loved once be this terrible person!?  All they wanted was to be with them again, even if briefly. And yes, they got what they wanted, but they didn’t want it to end like this! 

When the smoke and dust of the aftermath clears, it is soon learned that these terrible qualities are exactly the reason these people are taken from our life! Spirit was trying to protect us predatory people, abusers, people who will harm our love and spirit! 

It is easy to think that our love lives are ruined or that we lost our Soul Mate when relationships come to an end. But, this is the natural way Spirit removes people that would otherwise hinder us. It’s not to hurt us. It’s to help us! When people leave, let them leave! When things get broken beyond repair and bridges get burnt, don’t go trying to jimmy rig a way to get back to what was burned. Let it be! What is for you will stay, what is not for you will go away. You can intellectualize all you want and truly let go of them, but It will still hurt. You might still miss them for longer than you would like. You probably will want to punch every person in the face that says “Time heals all wounds.” And, I wouldn’t blame you.    

Most people discourage love spells because of the issue of going against Free Will. However, what is often overlooked is how we end up injuring our own destiny and gifts The Universe has in waiting. Manipulative love spells create blocks from your true Soul Mate because you are forcing a false love that will fail. You are filling your energetic space with manipulative forces that go against the flow of The Universe pushing further away your love abundance and other positive energy that is meant for you. Instead of holding a space open for what is yours, you are occupying a space with what is not meant for you. We may often think we know what we want. What we want & what we need are two different things. Believe that Spirit knows what you need, and trust the journey.  

This isn’t to say that all Love Magick is bad news, because it’s not! Love Magick isn’t ethical when you target a specific individual using Magickal manipulation. However, it is perfectly ethical to send a prayer out into the aether to bring good romantic matches your way or help you align yourself to be receptive for your Soul Mate. You can experiment with glamour or attraction Magick to boost your self confidence & draw those of interest into your life.

You can’t receive it when you’re holding on! Let go, and create an open space within you and your life to receive the love that is yours; the love that you actually need. You will see yourself transform, awakening The Divine within you, appreciating the value of who you are and what you have to offer in this life. Releasing attachment you reflect openness into the world; a free flowing spirit that is ready to receive.
